Service Description
Whether you're settling the estate of a spouse or family member, or you're an executor living in a different province or country, we act as your agent and start by identifying which tasks you'd like help with, then design an approach that fits both you and the estate. Fees: Free initial consultation. Our Agent for Executors fee is 1.5% of the value of the estate assets we administer, with a minimum fee of $5,000. Jointly held assets are not included. If there are areas you prefer to handle yourself, we can tailor our role, and the value of any assets you exclude is deducted from the fee calculation.
Cancellation Policy
Individual Appointments: Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice No fee will be charged for cancellations made with sufficient notice. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are subject to a cancellation fee of the scheduled service fee. This helps cover reserved time that cannot be rebooked on short notice. No-Shows: If a client does not attend a scheduled appointment without at least 24 hours notice, the full appointment fee will be charged. Exceptions may be made in cases of illness or emergency, at our discretion. Flat-Fee Packages: Before Services Begin: Flat-fee packages may be cancelled before any work begins for a full refund. After Services Begin: Once services have started, fees are: Pro-rated based on time already spent, or Non-refundable once substantial work has been completed Any refund due will be calculated fairly and explained clearly. Hourly Services: Hourly services are billed in 30-minute increments. There are no refunds for time already provided. Early Termination by Client: Clients may stop services at any time. Fees remain payable for services already delivered up to the termination date. Provider-Initiated Cancellation: If Regal Estate and Administrative Solutions must cancel an appointment or discontinue services: Any prepaid fees for services not provided will be fully refunded. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule if appropriate. Exceptional Circumstances: We understand that health issues and emergencies can arise. Exceptions to this policy may be made at our discretion and handled compassionately. Questions & Clarification: We encourage clients to ask questions about this policy at any time. Our goal is clarity, fairness, and peace of mind. Client Acknowledgement: By booking services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and understand this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
